With over 30 years of military service and three and a half years as a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES), I’ve built a career grounded in leadership, resilience, and a passion for helping others succeed.

While my career has been full of unique opportunities and meaningful challenges, the moments I cherish most involve mentoring, coaching, and guiding others—whether in the context of high-stakes missions or navigating day-to-day leadership hurdles.

So, in October 2023, I stepped away from a great SES job to pursue something completely different.

I started my own business as a coach, consultant, and creator.

In this business, I am dedicated to helping leaders and organizations thrive, applying lessons learned over decades of service and leadership to equip individuals and teams to break through barriers in their businesses, careers, and personal growth.

    Department of Homeland Security
    2020 - 2023

    Directed the modernization of Financial Systems across all DHS components. Implemented modern systems at CWMD, TSA, and USCG while maintaining the DHS’s clean audit opinion. Also, provided systems as a service to components post modernization. Created plans and contracts for implementations at FEMA, ICE, USCIS, S&T, CISA, and Management.

  • IT Programs

    Assistant Program Executive Officer (PEO)
    2017 - 2020

    Directed Information Technology (IT), Communications, Computers, Cybersecurity and Intelligence acquisition programs valued at $3B including nationwide communications and data networks, e-health records, financial, logistics, and integrated sensor/weapon systems. Served 50K customers across enterprise.

  • Air Programs

    Commanding Officer
    2014 - 2017

    Commanded unique unit with combined authorities and responsibilities of training, logistics, engineering, acquisition and operational air station. Led 110 people, 14 aircraft, and managed $700M to quickly integrate the newly acquired C-27J into operations. Responsible for airworthiness of the aircraft and crews as well as development and delivery of all tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); training and certification of crews; maintenance processes; technical publications; and logistics support.

  • Boat Programs

    Boats Acquisition Program Manager
    2012 - 2014

    Managed 4 distinct Boat Acquisition projects totaling $900M+. Directed budget planning, justification, and execution; vendor, stakeholder and customer management; schedule integration; engineering and configuration management; testing and ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements. Devised and delivered complete logistics support packages including training, simulators, technical documentation, spares and sustainment contracts. Directed 2 Project Resident Offices that ensured quality and efficiency at contract facilities as well as a detached duty Transition Team who delivered assets and training to customers across the CG.

    Consulted as a subject matter expert by the Coast Guards of China and Columbia to partner and teach boat acquisition and management best practices.

    Coast Guard nominee for 2014 DHS Project Manager of the year.
